What is Bless?
Bless is a community designed to respect every person, while also giving everyone the freedom to speak. People are supported in everything here — but they are not coddled or cosseted. It is an environment that fosters resiliency and comradery.
It's toxic. That is not an accident and it is not an apology. The goal is to be a home for the most toxic of people, and to give them an outlet and a way to grow. No human is inherently bad. People are all born ignorant, and they grow at different speeds.
With that in mind, some things exist across the entire community — certain expectations everyone carries. But there are also niche communities, each with their own atmosphere, their own owner, and their own rules on top.
Bless is a community centralizer of other communities.
The values, everywhere
Respect every person
Every single person in this network is owed basic respect. That is the floor, and it does not move.
Freedom to speak
You get to say what you mean. Others get to answer it. Neither of those gets taken away here.
Support, not coddling
People are supported in everything they're going through. They are not cosseted, and they are not handled like glass.
Resiliency and comradery
The environment is built to make people harder to break and easier to stand beside.
No one is born bad
Everyone is born ignorant. People grow at different speeds. Bless is where the growing happens out loud.
An outlet, then a way up
This is a home for the most toxic of people — because an outlet, plus a room full of people who won't flinch, is how anyone changes.
How the network fits together
The founding communities came in with their own history and their own crowd. Bless does not flatten them into one server with one tone — that would kill what makes each of them work. Instead, Bless sits in between them all: a place where everyone can come together and embody all of the values at once, and where anyone with a spurt of energy can help run the grand system while still running their own world.
On top of that, Bless builds its own sub-communities that every member is encouraged to join. The first is the Halo Bless Hub.
